Dr. Devin Grant was born and raised in Georgia. After graduating with honors from Valdosta State University with degree in Exercise Physiology and minor in Chemistry, he then earned his medical degree from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Grant then completed his advanced foot and ankle training at University of Louisville Hospital. In his spare time Dr. Grant enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, outdoor activities, and traveling.

Robert M. Hatcher, DPM, FACFAS - Raleigh, NC

Dr. Hatcher is from Wilmington, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina State University, graduating with a degree in Zoology. He then attended the University of Georgia for graduate school, studying physiology, before completing four years of medical school at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Northlake Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Hatcher is board-certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, as well as a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has authored two articles in national medical journals.

Dr. Alan Boehm of Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center congratulating scholarship recipient S.Y. Teague.

Congratulations S.Y. Teague as the first winner of the Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center Educational Scholarship. S.Y. attends Wake Technical Community College and hopes to major in Biomechanical Engineering at NC State University. His special interest is in developing new artificial limb technology to assist wounded veterans. Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center believes in S.Y., and we look forward to seeing him progress through to his educational goals. We will be issuing another scholarship to a deserving student at Wake Technical Community College next year. Dr. Alyssa Carroll felt a calling to podiatry when she was a competitive swimmer and suffered from sprained ankles and sore feet. A proud member of the Wolfpack, Dr. Carroll attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a degree in Human Biology. She then attended medical school at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, and she completed her surgical residency at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Carroll is an Associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
