Robert M. Hatcher, DPM, FACFAS - Raleigh, NC

Founder Dr. Robert Hatcher established a single-practitioner podiatry office in 1997, and he steadily built Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center into the thriving practice it is today through hard work, perserverance and prayer. His parter in crime (and wife), Linda, also dedicated her life to the practice, wearing many hats over the years to manage the magic behind the scenes.

After 41 years of dedicated practice, Dr. Hatcher announced his retirement in March 2018. To read his thank you letter to our wonderful patients, click here. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Hatcher for creating a great place for foot and ankle care... and an even greater place to work. This practice was built with care, and today we continue to serve the community by providing compassionate and progressive foot and ankle care for all ages from an expertly-trained staff who care about you.

Dr. Hatcher attended North Carolina State University, graduating with a degree in Zoology. He then attended the University of Georgia for graduate school, studying physiology, before completing four years of medical school at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Northlake Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Hatcher is board-certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, as well as a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
