Are you a dog lover?
Get to know Dr. Alyssa Carroll, a passionate rescue dog mom. Dr. Carroll is the newest podiatrist to join Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center, and next to her husband, Chris, her rescue dog Trixie is the center of her world.
Like most rescues, Trixie’s breed is a mystery, but she’s most likely a Jack Russell terrier and pitbull mix. When asked why she chose to adopt from a shelter, Dr. Carroll said, “There are too many dogs out there that need a home, and we had no special pet allergies or anything… so why not?”
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Carroll’s favorite things to do are explore the Triangle food scene and enjoy our many greenways.
