Dr. Alan Boehm was born in Sandpoint, Idaho. As a proud member of an American military family, he had the opportunity to live all over the country and spend four years in Japan as a child. Dr. Boehm earned his BS degree in Biology at the University of North Georgia. He then graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Temple University Hospital. Board-certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Boehm is also a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In his spare time he competes in triathlons, and he enjoys living in downtown Raleigh with his wife Kim and two girls Samantha and Sydney.
