Our doctors are all highly skilled surgeons, as well as first rate podiatrists who treat everyone from newborns to centurions. We deliver best-in-class service with a focus on patient satisfaction and positive results in a private practice setting.

Appointment Coordinator 

The appointment coordinator’s most essential duty is to answer phones. Other duties include; scheduling appointments, calling patients to deliver news/messages as instructed, rescheduling patients as instructed, handling online referrals from other offices, and handling online appointment requests. 

In order to qualify for this job, you must have excellent communication skills, good computer skills, the ability to work under pressure, a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor, as well as a high school diploma and at least one year of medical office experience.

Check-In Coordinator

The check-in coordinator is the first face our patients see upon entering the office; they must always have a smile on their face and maintain good eye contact. Job duties include accurately entering information into the system and quickly transferring charts to the nurses. They assist patients with orthotics and over the counter purchases, answer phones, make appointments as needed, and ensure that the schedules remain appropriately opened or closed. 

Check-Out Coordinator

The check-out coordinator gets a lot of face time with patients, and must always have a smile on their face. Job duties include accurately checking out patients and entering charges and collecting money. They answer the phones and make appointments as needed, process sales transactions for over the counter goods, and perform a number of administrative tasks. 

In order to qualify for this job, you must have excellent communication skills, good computer skills, the ability to work under pressure, a positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, as well as a high school diploma and at least one year of medical office experience. 

Insurance Coordinator

The insurance coordinator is responsible for correctly posting transactions to patient accounts, assisting staff with patient insurance inquiries, and working with accounts receivable reports. Additional job duties include dealing with insurance claims, contacting insurance companies for DME benefits and prior authorizations, posting payments and sending collection letters, counselling patients regarding insurance benefits and balances, and assisting with answering phones as needed. 

In order to qualify for the job, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. You must have a positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and patience as well as good computer skills. A high school diploma and 3 years’ experience working with insurance in a medical office setting are required. 

Clinical Floater

Our Clinical staff spend the most time with patients; they need to maintain efficient flow of patients in a timely manner. Job duties include triaging and rooming patients, performing treatments directed and prescribed by the physician, and keeping exam rooms and instruments clean, sterilized, and well stocked. They must be able to assist other clinical support staff as needed. 

In order to qualify for the job, you must have good communication skills, good computer skills, and a positive attitude. You must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment, be able to multitask, and be a team player. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is required, as well as 3 years’ medical office experience.

LPN/CMA

Our clinical staff spend the most time with patients; they need to maintain efficient flow of patients in a timely manner. Job duties include preparing rooms for patients, triaging and rooming patients, and performing treatment ts prescribed and directed by the physician. They must enter complete and accurate information into the EMR system used, perform x-rays, fit with DME, change dressings, remove sutures, and various other duties. Clinical staff order supplies, stock rooms, adjust and scan for foot orthotics, draw up medication s, and educate patients.  

In order to qualify for the job, you must have no less than 3 years’ experience in a practice setting, treating patients and have a professional, positive, and helpful attitude. You must be able to multitask and keep patient flow smooth, work with speed and accuracy, and have a mature, pleasant demeanor. You must be able to learn quickly, work fast and be dependable. Flexibility and adaptability are key to working at Raleigh Foot & Ankle Center. You must have organizational skills and excellent verbal and written skills, as well as the ability to work on your feet for long periods of time. 

Pedicurist

Our pedicurists work in our sterile nail salon, where they perform in-office pedicures, and laser procedures. Job duties include rooming patients and assisting physicians, ordering supplies for the salon, and increasing efficiency in the salon.

In order to qualify for the job, you must be a licensed manicursit with two years’ experience and excellent communication skills. Medical nail technician certification and CMA are preferred.
