Dr. Patrick Dougherty is a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and the proud son of two teachers. After graduating from Penn State University, Dr. Dougherty obtained his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his surgical training at Parkview and City Avenue Hospitals in Philadelphia.

Board-certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Patrick Dougherty is also a Diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society.

In practice in Raleigh and Henderson since 1999, Dr. Dougherty has had the opportunity to train Podiatric Medical Assistants in Saudi Arabia and has served as a Board Member on the NC Radiation Protection Commission.

He and his wife, Julie, are the parents of two amazing kids and enjoy theater, tennis, running, listening to music and watching collegiate sports.
